Tips based on hours actually worked

Tip pooling uses punched and approved hours, not just the hours planned on the calendar: an employee who arrives late or leaves early doesn’t receive the same share as a full shift. Before any confirmation, the manager sees a detailed preview of the calculated split for each employee. Once confirmed, the split becomes final and is kept in a searchable history, ready to answer any employee question about how it was calculated.
